Hillside Clubhouse

Become a member

Nigel, David & SeanHillside Clubhouse welcomes self referrals or referrals from professionals. All you need to do is call is to arrange an initial visit. If you like what you see you will then undertake a three day induction period which gives you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Clubhouse and undertake a range of different jobs. If you think you might like to become a member after that our Intake Committee which is made up of Clubhouse members and staff will decide if you can be offered a place. We are likely to want to see a risk assessment at this stage. In order to qualify for membership you must be interested in taking part in work related activity and not present a current significant risk to the membership. Islington residents generally access our services via our Mental Health Working Islington service. Eligibility criteria applies to the service and some parts of it.

Camden residents can access our Camden Work and Wellbeing service, but if this service isn’t appropriate for you and you want to access other Clubhouse projects or become a Clubhouse member this is likely to need to be separately funded.

If you live in any other Borough you can only become a member if funding is agreed by your home Borough. Again we can help you find out more about how this works. In this case please call our Director, Graeme Jones who will be happy to advise or email him at gjones@hillsideclubhouse.org.uk.
